Turmeric Benefits for Treating Acne


The benefits of turmeric to treat acne. Turmeric has been used for centuries in Asia to treat a number of diseases. Active ingredients act as anti-inflammatory and antiseptic properties, so that it can effectively be used as acne medication. Turmeric is known by the Latin name Curcuma domestica, which is a medicinal plant native to Southeast Asia that grow well in Indonesia.

The content of yellow dye (curcumin) in turmeric is believed to have anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, and drying, all of which can help treat acne.

Turmeric for Treating Acne

Recipe 1. Take a glass of warm milk and mix one teaspoon of turmeric into it. Stir milk so that the color turns yellow. Drink once a day, preferably before bed. This will boost the immune system, which as a result the body will be better able to fight bacterial infections, so a quick cure of acne.

Recipe 2. Turmeric can be applied to the skin topically (applied to the skin) to treat and prevent acne. Apply turmeric powder mixed with water or saffron cream for acne area once or twice daily after cleansing the skin.

Recipe 3. Increase the spice turmeric in the diet can also help reduce the development of acne.

Recipe 4. Using turmeric as a scrub to get rid of acne scars. Take 2-3 teaspoon of turmeric powder, 1-2 drops of lemon juice and mix with 1-2 drops of mustard oil or olive oil or jojoba oil's head. Apply evenly on face and leave 15 minutes before flushing.
